Wisconsin Solar Tour & Demonstration Sites
The Wisconsin Solar Tour, hosted by the Midwest Renewable Energy Association (MREA) with Focus on Energy, is held each fall (usually the first weekend in October), to demonstrate that renewable energy is practical, reliable and affordable in today's economy. Tour sites are owned, lived in, and worked in by ordinary people. They are helping others open the door to renewable energy. Although it is officially called the Wisconsin Solar Tour, sites include all sorts of renewable energy technologies and other innovative features. Certain sites around Wisconsin remain available as Year Round Demonstration Sites.Visit the MREA Web site to view demonstration sites.
