The Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin, is the home of a new 104-panel solar hot water system - the largest in the state. And that’s just one of the energy-saving measures the resort has taken.

Focus awards $1.5 million to eight Wisconsin dairy farms

Focus on Energy is helping Wisconsin dairy farms become more energy independent by awarding eight grants totaling more than $1.5 million. These grants will help each dairy farm install an anaerobic digester—a renewable energy system that produces heat and electricity from organic material.

Focus is pleased to announce a new pilot program designed to reduce energy use in large commercial buildings. The Large Commercial Building Initiative (LCBI) is aimed at offices, shopping centers, theaters and other buildings that consume most of their energy for the purposes of heating, air conditioning and lighting.
